New for 2003 - PRS Road Race Division
In addition to its drag racing efforts, PRS has expanded to include the new
Road Race Division, recently created to support its new association with the
American LeMans Road Racing Series. Joining the ALMS as an official corporate
member this year, the PRS trailer will be attending a majority of the events
for the 2003 season. CV Products will be showcasing all of its latest products
as well as the latest from its Road Race partners, which include Aeroquip, ARP,

Red Hot Start to 2003
 Daytona’s
Speedweeks touched off what is sure to be an avalanche of achievements for
2-Qwik teams in both the Craftsman Truck and ARCA series. The powerhouse race
teams of Jason Leffler, Ted Musgrave, Robert Pressley and Tina Gordon made
their debut with 2-Qwik shocks at Daytona. Leffler was able to capture the pole
position, while Musgrave and Pressley made it a sweep of the top-3 starting
positions. In ARCA, Billy Venturini, Shelby Howard, Jason Jarrett, Matt Hagans
and Ron Cox demonstrated their speed throughout the week, capturing the top of
the time charts and running well during qualifying and the 40th Annual Advance
Discount Auto Parts 200.

Inside Drag Racing
The CV2600 series fuel pump was profiled for ESPN’s Inside Drag Racing at the
recent Southern Drag Race and Muscle Car show in Greensboro, NC. Speaking
extensively with CV Director of Engineering Lonnie Rush, Jr., the show’s host
Ted Jones discussed the technology behind how CV Products has revolutionized

CV2600 Series Billet Mechanical Fuel Pump
Designed and manufactured entirely by CV Products to respond to engine
builders’ need for higher performance and greater fuel flow without sacrificing
consistent pressure, the CV2600 Series high-pressure billet mechanical fuel
pump contains unique valving that allows it to flow up to 1200 lbs. per hour at
eight PSI. With results like these, CV Products’ billet pumps outperform every
other mechanical fuel pump on the market today, including many of the
belt-driven models!
To achieve superior durability, the pump has a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet
aluminum housing and a bright nickel finish that is resistant to alcohol or
salt water in marine applications. The pump’s internal valving is rebuildable
and is resistant to the corrosive effects of alcohol, allowing it to outlast
previous alcohol-compatible pumps. The CV2600 Series’ three standard diaphragm
assemblies make it perfect for use with fuel/gas/ alcohol or marine
applications.
