Professional Race Support™ Drag Race Division, a trackside service and support

Race Support™ continues its diversity in race support with the addition of the
Grand American Road Racing Series. PRS,a trackside service and support program,
will be servicing many different events during the 2002 race season including:
IHRA, UDTRA, USAR Hooters ProCup, ARCA, NASCAR Weekly Racing Series, SMART and
CRA Sunoco Super Series. The PRS program will be supporting the race teams at

2001 PRI Review
CV Products hosted two very successful seminars at this
year's 14th Annual PRI Trade Show in December 2001. CV Products would like to
thank all of its guest speakers and attendees for their participation. The two
seminars-"The Latest Trends In Valvetrain Technology" and "New Drag Race Clutch
Technology" - were created to help inform others within the racing industry of
new trends and new technologies that are available from some of the top

Products is proud to jointly announce with the Goodyear Belt &Hose Corp.
that multi-rib drive system belts (more commonly referred to as
serpentine-style), including the Goodyear "Poly-V" Gatorback™ belt, have been
approved by NASCAR for use in all three professional classes in 2002-including
the Winston Cup, Busch and Truck Series. CV Products already offers an
extensive line of S-Drive™ serpentine pulleys and drive systems for GM, Ford
and Dodge engine applications. Ongoing development in response to the rule
change should result in a variety of new drive components becoming available
for the 2002 racing season.
According to the CV engineering department, "This development reaffirms CV
Products's role as one of the leaders in drive system technology for the racing
industry. We're excited about this news because similar CV Products systems
have been run in the Busch, Truck, ARCA and Hooters ProCup Series for two
years, and NASCAR has taken the steps to standardize what their series may run.
While the traditional v-belt continues to be an excellent choice for many
racing series, CV and Goodyear™ have been developing and pursuing approval of
Goodyear's Poly-V Gatorback™ poly-v belt for over two years for several
reasons, including increased reliability and reduced cost. Our customers,the
NASCAR engine builders,were also overwhelmingly in favor of such a change."
The rules regarding drive systems will basically remain the same with the
exception of the allowance of multi-rib belts. While other racing series
including ARCA and ProCup already allow for a true serpentine configuration
utilizing a single belt, NASCAR will require a standard rotation water pump for
the immediate future and NOT allow idlers, thus necessitating more than one
belt. CV Products recommends genuine Goodyear™ belts for all S-Drive™ and
V-Drive™ pulleys and drive systems.

lightweight hoses and fittings from blue to black and its fittings from blue to
red. Although the appearance has changed, the StartLite™ racing hoses and
fittings still incorporate the same advantages as before, including a fire
retardant Nomex® cover and Aeroquip ’s patented AQP® elastomer tube.It'’s also
